The other person becomes a mirror for your lack of caring about yourself.

The more you learn to take full, 100% responsibleness for your own feelings, the more another's lack of caring will be insufferable to you. The more you are able to continue tuned into yourself and trust your own perceptions, the faster you will discern a lack of caring in others. The more you accept your lack of control over getting others to be caring, the brighter you will let go of people who are aim on getting caring but not much involved with giving it.

It really doesn't take long to pick out the loving heart once you have compassion for yourself, trust your perceptual experiences, and admit your lack of control over others. People cheat their intention to either give love or to get it, or to give to get, with everything they say and do. With practice, you can learn to discern the warm heart very early in a relationship. I'm talking about Grafton St Andrews church in this instance. I used to consider myself a christian before receiving the sad realization that my church and most other christian churches are haven for pedophile priests. Rev Gordon Ficko is one of them because of what I saw him do to my 5 year old nephew. My faith in the christian churches started to dwindle the first time when I rented shared living space from a priest. We were friends prior to that and after moving in I began attending church regularly because I still considered myself a christian at that point. During that time period my nephews and niece would visit me every weekend. On sundays we would attend church with the priest. Even though I have lossed faith in 'the church' I never stopped believing in the salvation of Christ Jesus and God as our creator.

The same christian priest I lived with ended up molesting my nephew and I saw this twice with my own eyes. The christian priest molested him by inappropriately kissing him on the lips and with his tongue in my nephews mouth. That alone was bad enough but didn't in itself destroy my faith in the christian church. I will go into that further on. When more of the story was later revealed, it turned out that the christian priest had done these inappropriate behaviors with my nephew at least 5 times before finally getting arrested by the police.

The first time I saw the christian priest kissing my 5 year old nephew by holding him on his lap with my nephew facing him while he held my nephew's head in both hands. Then with his own strength the christian priest pulled my 5 year old nephew's face towards his and kissed him passionately on the lips. THe christian priest repeated this motion at least 3 times before I called my nephew to remove him from the priest who in my opinion appeared to be engaging in too much intimate kissing inappropriately with my nephew. The christian priest wasn't aware of what I saw because I was standing behind him when I saw it.

This was around christmas time 2006. The priest was 87 at the time so I decided I should watch closer. From that point onwards I did my best to make sure the kids weren't alone with this priest who I was becoming suspicious of.

What really bothered me the most about this christian priest before seeing what I saw was he had a long standing friendship with a multiple repeat offender pedophile named Paul Jenkins. I didn't know this before moving in and having the children visiting me but when I did find out I did what I could to stop Jenkins from phoning because at the time I was sharing the phone with the christian priest. I even threatened to complain to Jenkins Parole officer if he didn't stop calling because he would call several times per day. That bothered me because I was worried and creeped out that one of the kids may answer the phone while Paul Jenkins is calling. I also warned my sister about what I was up against and after seeing what I saw the first time I told my sister to never ever let the kids alone with the christian priest.

I spoke with the christian priest about my concern about him being too afffectionette with the children and firmly told him not to let them on his lap. He didn't seem to get it because it happened again with me nephew. This time while looking for my keys so that I would be ready to go to church which was a regular routine. I heard my nephew ask the christian priest for a kiss because he was still with in earshot but momentarily out of site. Upon hearing my nephew ask the christian priest for a kiss I immediately proceeded to the scene to intervene. It was too late; my nephew was already on his lap at that point with the christian priest embracing him like a lover and he had his tongue in my nephew's mouth. I had to pull my nephew away from him as he pulled his tongue back in his own mouth with a slurping noise while I pulled them apart.

And that's what I told the police although the christian priest's lawyer was slick enough to convince the crown that the christian priest testimony would be a more credible witness then myself and the 2 children who were also witness to 5 seperate incidents. They did however get the christian priest to plead guilty to breach of conditions for trying to contact my nephew while on bail. He ended up getting bailed out by a former mayor of Cobourg of all people. The christian priest also agreed to the suggested sentence of 2 years probation as well as no contact with children without adult supervision.

It wasn't long before the christian church jumped in and publically supported the 'poor aging reverand _______'. They painted him as a victim and martyr totally ignoring who the real victim was; my nephew. So the christian church garnered media and other church support and managed to muster up a $200000 legal budget. Then with a top lawyer swung a deal with the crown to have him plead guilty to breach of bail and agree to a 2 year probation involving no contact with children without adult supervision. The media then painted him as a martyr as it made the front page that the charge was dropped due to no evidence. That's a load of crap as they needed evidence to charge him in the first place.

I went to and donated to the same church who ended up supporting a pedophile who preyed on my nephew who was 5 years old at the time. I watched the news report as multiple churches came forward to publically support this sick perverted priest. Where is the humanity when the predator gets more sympathy then the victim? I now consider churches to be havens for pedophiles that are unsafe for children.

It absolutely sickened me to read the local newspaper report about how the christian churches in the area have banded together to support a pedophile priest once again. The members of the local christian chiurches paid for the pedophile who preyed on my nephew at least 5 different times. I personally donated generously the pedophile loving church; the same christian church which was now betraying me and 2 children who were also witnesses. So there you have it in a nutshell. The reason why I now consider most christian churches to be havens for pedophiles is because they are and it can be proven. - 15784

How much do you really love me ?

Such similar words could be uttered by lovers in this month of hearts. But such words were not uttered by one lover to another, rather these words were uttered by our Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in John chapter 21 verses 15 to 17.

The story is quite a familiar one among Christians, but I believe we cannot fully grasp the full meaning of the chapter if we do not closely investigate the meanings of the words that Jesus used.

The story begins with Jesus and Peter having dinner. During that time, Jesus asked Peter if he loved him to which Peter replied in the affirmative. Jesus told then told Peter to "feed my lambs."

Afterwards Jesus again asked Peter the same question to which he replied in the affirmative and then Jesus told him again to "Feed my sheep."

Jesus again asked Peter the same question the third time. But instead of replying in the affirmative, the verse says that "Peter was grieved" He then told the Lord "thou knowest." Jesus then replies "Feed my sheep."

Most people believe that Peter was grieved because Jesus asked him three times if he loved him. But I doubt if that is the case.

The key to understand the passage is to take a close look at the word "Love" as used by Jesus.

The first time Jesus asked Peter if he loved him, the word used by Jesus is the koine greek word "agapao." This is the word that is used to describe a love that is pure or ideal. This kind of love is that would be willing to die for another person. In effect Jesus was asking Peter if he loved him so much to the extent that would he be willing to die for him.

The answer of Peter was "Yea Lord, thou knowest that I love thee." Here Simon Peter used the greek word "Phileo" referring to a love with a lesser degree than agapao. Phileo is oftend used for "brotherly love." Jesus Christ asked Peter if he loved him to the extent that he is willing to die for him, but sadly Peter only gave him his brotherly affection.

The second time around, Jesus asked Peter if he loved him using the same word "Agapao" to which Peter answered with the same word "Phileo."

Suprisingly, the third time Jesus Christ asked Peter if he loves him, instead of using the word "Agapao" the word "Phileo" was used. In other words Jesus Christ appeared to be questioning even the brotherly love that Peter has for him. In effect, Jesus Christ was asking Peter if he was even sure that he loved him as a brother.

So now we now why Peter was grieved. It is quite obvious that Peter was not grieved because he was asked three times by our Lord if he loved him. The cause of his grief is because even the "brotherly" love that he offered was questioned by the Lord Jesus Christ. Peter then humbly replied that Jesus knows everything so there is no need to ask.

You can notice that in all three instances after Jesus asked Peter for his commitment of love, Jesus always asked him to do something for him. That is to feed his lamb and sheeps. We can see here that He was telling Peter that love must be translated into action and not just expressed by mere words.

The lesson that we can learn here is that we need to ask ourselves, do we truly love Christ. Do we love him to the extent that we are willing to give up our lives for him? We might not be able to fully understand this because we live in a free country and we are free to worship God. But what if we are tortured for Christ? Are we willing to die for His name ?

But to prove our love for him, we do not have to be tortured for our faith. All we have to do is demonstrate our love for him by being a good example to other Christians, discipling them and helping them grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. - 15784
