All-Inclusive Honeymoon Packages: One Stop Shop

By Ernst Ralborg

For those who have completed most of the plans for a wedding, the task of making detailed plans for a honeymoon is probably not high on the priority list. After securing plans for the church service, a dinner-and-dance reception, catering, flowers and music, most couples have little energy for further planning. Wedding plans, tuxedo and bridal gown fittings, gifts for members of the wedding party are probably enough for anyone. In many cases, the bride and groom, and their families, are more than willing to book one of the great honeymoon packages that are all-inclusive.

An all-inclusive honeymoon package is intended to remove most, if not all, of the need for detailed planning. Those who feel they have to keep some control over the details of a honeymoon trip, a vacation trip or any other activity may not want to commit to a package that takes care of all the details. Those who want to micromanage their daily activities would be better off putting together their own itinerary.

Respectable and reputable companies can book airline travel, lodging at excellent hotels, rental car transportation, daily excursions and much, much more, leaving the happy couple to relax and enjoy. In fact, all-inclusive honeymoon packages just about the only thing the couple needs to decide on is where to start the honeymoon trip and what transportation will get them to a chosen destination. All inclusive trips can be booked for beachfront resorts, mountain-view ski lodges, cruises and many more desirable destinations.

A bit of planning and some research will help uncover some of the better travel companies that have a list of preferred vendors. These vendors can offer special prices used to create excellent honeymoon packages, at a total cost that is less than the couple would be able to arrange on their own, one part at a time.

While there are some differences in details among the many honeymoon travel packages, in general these all-inclusive packages provide lower hotel rates and sometimes additional lodging discounts. There may also be lower air fares, reduced prices on rental cars, entertainment and meals. Some vacation destinations and cruise companies may even include tips/gratuities in the overall price, taking care of even one more detail for the couple.

Honeymoon couples who choose many of the excellent package trips won't have to make many decisions while on their special vacation, other than the sometimes difficult choice between room service and a restaurant. From the time they arrive the details will be taken care of: hotel check-in; car rental details; dinner reservations; side trips and excursions such as scuba diving, jet skiing and fishing. All of this is pre-arranged with all-inclusive packages.

While most travel companies have made it rather easy to find their popular honeymoon packages, the bride, groom and family members may want spend some time viewing travel websites, print magazines and area newspapers to find the best values. There are dozens of great deals available, guaranteed to satisfy the most discriminating travelers. However, a bit of time spent looking at Web sites, print information and newspapers at the right time may mean an even better deal for the couple. Local travel agents can also be of assistance with all-inclusive honeymoon packages. - 15784
