Cold Sores Got You Blue? Just Smile Anyway

By Stu Patterson

Your number one defense in fighting cold sores is to treat your body to good whole foods. It so easy to eat quick "fast" foods these days but eating a well balanced diet of whole foods and staying away from sweets, your body's immune system will strengthen itself. Do not overlook the importance of diet.

Breathing and sleep are the most underrated forms of healing in our society today. By getting a regular and appropriate amount of sleep your body's growth hormones go to work and heal your body and therefore produce the antibodies that will help you stave off cold sores. Deep breathing a few times a day will also reduce tension and stress allowing you to better fight off the Herpes virus.

The process of exercise, done properly, allows you to perform a "stress" action followed by a "recovery" or relaxation. Over time this produces physical strength and energy, both of which help you build your immune system and therefore, fight cold sores before they occur.

If you want to keep the Cold Sores away you'll want to be careful when out in the sun. Yes, its healthy for all of us but be careful and don't over do it.

If I told you to cry right now could you? Trained actors could do it yet if you told them to smile while crying it would be near impossible. Therefore If you smile, as much as possible, you will be in a more positive state. Believe it or not, this produces the right c kind of chemicals in your brain for a healthy immune system.

Everything is attitude. Sometimes it is easy to forget "How Good" things are. If you find yourself in a stressful situation just think of something that could be even worse. Then be grateful you are not in that situation instead. It seems simple and easy to do but the emotion of gratitude is very powerful in feeling better and healing your body. - 15784
