Solve Boyfriend Problems - Tips For Handling Boyfriend Problems

By O. Remillard

If you are asking yourself how to handle "boyfriend problems", it is important that you create a plan regarding what you are going to do and what to watch out for. You want to set limits to what you are willing to put up with and what is out of the question. Some women have a tough time coming to grips that perhaps its all over, living in a dream world, every morning waking up with the hope that it was all a nightmare. This is especially true if you have been together for a long time.

Solving this is a process and it takes time but there are five critically important things for you to watch out for. They will protect your heart somewhat and perhaps your sanity.

- If you want to put a permanent fix on your boyfriend problems, don't appear desperate. It is critical that you control your emotions even if your heart wants to explode. Find someone you trust to confide in, someone whose shoulder you can safely cry on. If you are going to beg or plead, let it be in front of your trusted person and not your boyfriend. That would just give him ammo to hurt you with. And, whatever you do, don't be checking on him and following him around. That is the surest way to shred any trust that is developing.

- It doesn't matter what he may have done, it is your choice whether to give a second chance or not. Bear in mind that even a convicted killer gets a chance to appeal. But first, you should question your motives in all this. Is it love you feel for him or something else? Is your relationship really worth saving? What do you want to accomplish? Is it he you want back or something about him you miss? Could it be that you just dread being alone? If there are any other reasons other than love that you want to repair your boyfriend problems, look real hard at the possible bad things that this could bring to your life.

- Whatever you do, don't stalk him or spy on him. To get caught means that you don't trust him and that is a sure fire way of destroying any chances you might have of solving your boyfriend problems. Although desperation and heartache might be pushing you to act hastily, fight off the urge and avoid appearing desperate or needy in his presence. If you just have to gush out your anguish, try to hold off till you are with a trusted friend or family member. These will offer a safe place for you to cry your eyes out so that you don't beg or plead in front of him.

- Keep the communication lines with your boyfriend open. He may have ended the relationship or threatened to but you just need to make him know that communication lines are open and that you want to be civil. You do not have to be the one initiating the conversation, but you should be willing to say hello and have a conversation occasionally with him, keeping in touch casually.

- Some things few people think about are: do you still want this to continue? Do you really love him? What are you afraid will be missing from your life if he is no longer a part of it? Could it be that you are just afraid of being alone? Answer these questions and you will have a good chance of resolving your boyfriend problems if that is what you truly desire. Continuing your lives together built on anything other than love will lead to calamity and pain for you. - 15784
