Now I going to talk about what you can do to ensure the woman you are talking to is not a scammer. These methods are inexpensive and will take the worry out of meeting a foreign lady.
Is the girl that you are talking to real? Unfortunately if you are trying to start a relationship with someone in another country, then this is going to be part of the dating experience. Take what I am saying seriously and ensure you really know the girl.
There are a lot stories all over the internet about scammers and how they take advantage of men looking for girlfriends and wives from abroad. Unfortunately none of these stories ever turn out with a happy ending. Most turn out with men losing large sums of money, their identity or getting physically hurt or even killed.
The first thing you want to do is use a recommended and reputable secure website to do your searches. Do a Google search for Elena's Models or Kiev Connections. I have personally worked with both owners and they are dedicated to ensuring a scam free, legitimate website. Both websites have women that are looking for long lasting relationships with men just like you.
Now if you are a little light on money or just don't want to use a reputable website, then you are going at it alone. Now I am hoping that you meet someone through a friend or family member. If not, then it is very important that you ask for her mobile number. No matter the financial situation almost every single woman in Europe, Russia and former Soviet Republics have a mobile. If she says she does not have one, then you should question her motives. Every woman that I talked to in the Ukraine immediately wanted to talk to me and would give me their mobile number. Even the poorest girls had numbers. Yet if a girl said no, then 100% of the time she turned out to be a scammer.
Now there is not one woman in Russia or former Soviet Republics that does not love gifts. They will expect you to send them gifts for the holidays. Knowing this, it would be normal for you to ask for a mail address. Yet some girls are very shy in the beginning and will not give it out. I would suggest waiting for about two weeks to a month before asking for her mailing address. If after a month she has not given you her address, then there is something wrong.
If you get an address from your girl, send her flowers and have the flower agency take a picture of her receiving flowers. If the address is correct, then she will be at the address and she will look like the girl in the picture. Cost is around $5 - $10 USD for a picture. I know of a few guys that had their girl's picture taken and she looked nothing like her picture. It is a big disappointment, but better to know up front.
Lastly if you have doubts about your girl, then send an investigator out to take a look for you. You can find these investigators online. Some are expensive, but they will investigate addresses, phone numbers and even take pictures of your fiance, girlfriend or friend for you. They will let you know 100 percent if she is real or not.
If you are still having doubts and are planning to travel to meet her, you can hire a bodyguard. I know business men that hire these bodyguards, fees are negotiable. Personally if I had this many doubts about my fiance, I would chose to end the relationship and start over again. I was very relaxed the first time I met my fiance and had no doubts about her.
