How To Make A Cheap Date A Memorable Date

By Jayde Johanssen

Many people are afraid of dating due to the perceived expense associated with it. They think it costs money to meet people. (Ie. dating site fees) They think it costs money to get to know them. (Ie. paying for dinner or theatre tickets) This can actually stop people from dating. This is a terrible state of affairs. As such, I have written this article to show you there are ways to meet and date people, without spending much money at all.

The first thing you need to do is meet people. If you don't want to spend any money in this regard, you just need to go old fashioned. Say "Hi" to people you come across in every day life. Say hi to everyone. Get used to meeting new people in everyday life, saying hi and striking a conversation with them.

Start this tomorrow. Just start talking to all the people who almost touch your life but don't quite get there. If you start practising this now you will get more and more comfortable with it. You will become skilled at it. It will soon become an action which is within your comfort zone. Then, when that potential date comes along, it will be easy to meet, strike up a conversation and organise a date.

There are so many situation in every day life that give you these opportunities. Some examples include: Sitting on the bus; having a coffee at a cafe; Shopping; Walking the dog; Posting a letter. Every moment you spend outside your front door is a moment that exposes you to the world of meeting people. So get out there and start saying "Hi".

Now that you are meeting people, you have to work out what to do when you want to see someone again on a date. You need to do this in a way that will leave all your money in your pocket and impress the person you are dating. Its pretty simple really. You just need to think outside the square a bit. The best thing about such dates too, is they work better than expensive dates. The problem about expensive dates is they are all the same. Ie. After someone has taken you out to dinner, the next dinner date is still out to dinner. So when thinking "cheap", think "unique" also.

Here are some ideas to whet your appetite: A DVD movie marathon - you both bring a DVD or two over and cuddle up on a couch all night watching them; Go window shopping for pets, antiques, luxury cars or boats. Just leave your credit card at home; Go back to your childhood and do something you loved to, like play on the swings in a park; exercise - go for a walk at the beach, a ride in the hills, a rollerblade anywhere; make the journey the date; Combine some of the above ideas

It is really easy to meet and date people without spending a cent. You have to spend something though, so spend some time and effort instead. Its sure to end in a successful time. - 15784
