When it comes to your wedding day and wearing a wedding gown a white wedding dress is what women are likely to choose. From early age they envision themselves while walking down the aisle making eye contact with there soulmate wearing a wedding gown which is most likely in there thoughts to be white of color.

White is the most likely the choice for wedding dresses due to the beauty, symbolism that it represents. Tradition is also important and if you go back in time a white wedding dress is what brides are most likely going to pick.

When watching television and a wedding is shown the bride is mostly to be in white. So therefore when the time comes to choosing what color to wear you assume white is the way to go. You see your favorite TV star in white so you want to replicate that.

If you go back to history, the tradition dates back to the year 1840. This is when Queen Victoria wore a white dress which was to make a statement about her wealth because pure white fabric was very expansive. So in time the tradition was adopted and the brides would wear a expensive white dress.

When you think of the color white it normally symbolizes purity, which refers to the bride. It can also represent to the purity of the marriage, which is the vows between the couple. The color white is also seen as beauty. Their is something about a white wedding gown that glows among a group of people. Wearing the color white has a style about it.

Wearing a white wedding dress is still the tradition lots of brides like to follow. Very often a new style or trend is occurring these days. That also goes to wedding dresses that vary in different shades of colors and are in style today.

Their are some brides who would rather not go towards the traditions of old and wear the color white for their wedding day. In this day and age it is find because there are variety of choices.
